The guard is approximately twice the width of the blade on each side. I think it should be a little broadened (wider). The only thing I think can be slightly improved is the guard as well. The blade of the Iceblade looks absolutely awesome though. The grip gives me a kind of cartoony feeling, and the guard should be bigger and more "emphasized" (have a "tougher" attitude).
